WHAT'S IN AN IQ?

My son came home from a recent vacation and
informed me that his IQ was higher than my IQ.
I nodded my head and asked, "What's an IQ?
Does it stand for Idiot Quotient?
Incompetence Quotient?
Incompatible Quotient?
Ignorant Questions?
Ignominious Queries?
Irresponsible Quotations?

Incomprehensible Qoph
     (a Hebrew letter)?
Inaccessible Qanat
   (underground tunnel
   for carrying irrigation water)?
Incomprehensible Qasida (Arabic or Persian
elegiac poem)?
Incessant Quab (to throb; quiver)?
Indigent Quadragenarian (a person betwee 40 and
                                          49 years of age)?
Independent Quadrennial (lasting four years;
                           occurring once every four years)?
Incomprehensible Quenelle (poached meat
                                             dumpling)?
Incessant Quaeritur (the question is asked)?
Inexorable Querist (inquirer)?
Incomprehensibly quidditative (quirky; eccentric)?"

"That's the one," he said and went off to his room to play his guitar and I returned to watching TV.*

*Never really happened but it should have.
